Mon Ami Gabi(Paris hotel) The restaurant is nice but you'll want to
be either on the patio or at one of the window seats as that is the
true charm here. They have taken full advantage of the fountains
across the street at the Bellagio and this is a great viewing site. The
food is excellent and price wise compares with other steakhouses
in town. The steaks are served with FRITES which can best be
described as flat french fries. Beware the bleu cheese new york
steak as it is loaded with bleu which tended to drown the flavor of
an excellent steak. The butter enhanced steaks seem to be a
favorite and I enjoyed that as well. Nice romantic and worth a date
night. Again it is to your advantage to be able to view the fountains
otherwise this is just another restaurant. AuRevoir
The Steakhouse at Luxor
This is a continuation of the fine dining establishments the Mandalay group was originally known for as Circus-Circus Enterprises. The Steakhouse at Circus_Circus is still a great restaurant and this is as well. The only caveat is that all the other guys have caught up and in some ways surpassed this type steakhouse. The Palms has NINE which food-wise is better but ambience-wise dies a slow, screaming death. The Luxor steakhouse has a lot of cherrywood appointment and is very romantic and plush. The steaks and the lobster my wife had were definitely top row and well worth the price paid.
Steakhouse46(Flamingo hotel)
This is an awesome place to eat. The food is good and quite competitive pricewise with the other steakhouses in town. I had the new york steak(16oz) and the wife had surf and turf (a common denominator lately). We added two veggies, the creamed spinach and finger potatoes. Both of these were large and quite satisfactory too! It was all good, all eaten and the service was great. We left this restaurant satisfied and satiated. Definitely a must try place.
